Boba Tea in Chinatown

Hello, lovelies!

Today I bring a casual #ootd of when I visited Chinatown and had the most delicious boba tea ever by Hive x Taikou! Chinatown is one of my favorite places to visit in NYC. I love how beautifully decorated the streets are and the amazing scent of Asian food all around the neighborhood! It makes me so sad to see Asian hate crimes spreading across our country. #stopasianhate

Mimi's Salon 💇🏼

Hello, lovelies!

This weekend I made a little visit to Mimi's Salon, one of the best in the Upper East Side. After bleaching my hair for years, we decided to ditch the platinum blonde and go for a darker shade of blonde this time. My hairstylist also added shadow roots, this way I won't need to retouch my hair color so often. I know it might seem like a small change, but for a bleach addicted like me, that's a huge step!

Meet Grace Ashwell

— How can I even begin to explain Grace Ashwell?

— Grace Ashwell is a Slytherin.

— I hear she is part veela.

— I hear she does Nimbus' commercials in Japan.

— Her favorite band is the Weird Sisters.

— One time, she met Gilderoy Lockhart on a Portkey. And he told her she was pretty.

— One time, she hexed me in the face. It was awesome.

Grace has been enjoying little (maybe not so “little”) moments of indulgence lately. Since she was fired from her job at Spellbound magazine — after telling her boss she wanted to write a political piece advocating for more rights for the domestic elves —  Grace had to move back to her parents home, in Warwickshire. Now, at every chance, she indulges in any sugary treat that might help her ease her anxious heart. Grace is also assisting her mother, working at their Apothecary in the village of Wilmcote. She’s been trying to raise funds to go traveling. She dreams about going on adventures and writing books about them. Her true goal is to become a real serious writer, one that would make her parents proud, rather than a columnist in a gossip magazine.
