Granny's Apple Pies 🥧

Since I have moved to granny's farm, I have been helping her around here. This weekend we baked apple pies, with fresh apples we collected from granny's orchard. Granny joined the best pie contest at the Pottsfield Fair. She got second place, we are happy, but I still believe she deserved the first place!

Dreamy Hydrangeas

Hello, guys!

I'm currently taking a break from blogging because I have been feeling really uninspired lately. I started to feel stuck, outdated, irrelevant... there are several studies out there showing that social media is harmful. I decided to deactivate my instagram account for a week, I also deleted the Flickr app from my phone and stayed logged off for days. This tactic is indeed proving to work out. I have been taking photos that I have been wanting to take for a long time but never had the stamina to really take them. This picture right here, that I took last week, made me really happy. Books Are My Escape 📚

I really miss visiting the main library. My husband and I used to visit the library every week. I miss walking in the library's hallways. I miss checking out the stands with the new books displayed on them. Recently, I downloaded the app Kindle. I'm reading "The Princess Bride", the book is one million times better than the movie, like books tend to be. Don't get me wrong, I love the movie. But the book brings depth and fun to the story like the movie could never do. The movie lasts only 1 hour and 38 minutes. The books lasts long enough to help me fall asleep every night. Thanks for the company. 💗
